Question 117460
The first 5 prime numbers (divisible only by themselves and 1 and not counting the number 1) are
2, 3, 5, 7, and 11
.
So the most extra credit a student can receive on a test is 11 points. Since there are 5 cards
that you can draw and only one of those cards contains the number 11, the probability of
drawing that care is 1 out of 5 which is a probability of {{{1/5}}} or {{{0.20}}} or 20%.
.
Hope this helps you to understand a little more about probability and how it works.
