Question 1110203
.
The height of a square-based pyramid is {{{20sqrt(8)}}} units and the length of the side of its base
is {{{12sqrt(8)}}} units. Find the volume of the pyramid, expressing the answer in the simplest surd form.

        Calculations and the answer in the post by @mananth are incorrect.

        I came to bring a correct answer.

Area of square base = {{{12sqrt(8)}}} * {{{12sqrt(8)}}} = 144 * 8.

Volume = {{{(1/3)*144*8}}} * {{{20sqrt(8)}}}

= 48 * 8 * {{{40sqrt(2)}}}

= {{{15360*sqrt(2)}}} cubic units.    &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<U>ANSWER</U>
