The minute-hand of a clock is 6 cm long. How far does the end of the hand travel in 35 minutes?

        My goal was to present a short, clear and straightforward solution to the given problem.

A solution is to take  {{{35/60}}} = {{{7/12}}}  of the circumference of a circle having the radius of 6 cm


    travel distance is  {{{2*pi*r*(35/60)}}} = {{{2*3.14159*6*(7/12)}}} = 21.99113 cm.


Round reasonably to 22 cm.     <U>ANSWER</U>
