What I have done:

{{{y + 1/2 = -(1/3)x + (1/2) * (-1/3)}}}

{{{y + 1/2 = - (1/3)x - (2/6)}}}..........here you made mistake;{{{ (1/2) * (-1/3)=1*(-1)/(2*3)=-(1/6)}}}, so

{{{y + 1/2 = - (1/3)x -(1/6)}}}..........add {{{- 1/2}}} to the both sides

{{{y + 1/2 - 1/2 = - (1/3) x - 1/6 - 1/2}}}

{{{y =  - (1/3) x - 1/6 - 1/2}}}......for {{{6}}} and {{{2}}} common den. is {{{6}}}

{{{y = - (1/3)x -1/6 -1*3/6}}}


{{{y = - (1/3)x - 1/6 -3/6}}}

{{{y = - (1/3)x -4/6}}}

{{{y = - (1/3)x -2/3}}}
