Question 1210379
<pre>
I was wondering about this problem since it didn't simplify into anything nice.

Maybe all your teacher wanted was only for you to get the decimal approximation:

{{{log(6,(8))+2*log(6,(3))+ log(6,(12))-log(6,(29))}}}

{{{log(6,(8))+log(6,(3^2))+ log(6,(12))-log(6,(29))}}}

{{{log(6,( (8*3^2*12)/29 ))}}}{{{""=""}}}{{{log(6,(864/29))}}}

Then use change of base formula, change to natural logs:

{{{log(6,(864/29))}}}{{{""=""}}}{{{ln(864/29)/ln(6)}}}{{{""=""}}}{{{1.894382029}}}
