Question 1208288
.

In his post,  @josgarithmetic made a fatal error,  which leads him to wrong
final equation as the answer.

The error was that he incorrectly wrote the slope equation for point (h,k) and slope m.

He wrote it in the form    m = {{{(y-k)/(h-x)}}},    while the correct form is    m = {{{(y-k)/(x-h)}}}.

Therefore,  hist post is toxic,  and my advise to a reader is do not touch it
and do not consider it seriously.

For the solution,  use the correct post by @timofer.
