Question 1205990

Degree = largest exponent (single variable polynomials only)

Degree = 0 is for any constant function. We'll just have a single number up top without any x's attached.
Degree = 1 means the largest exponent is 1 and the function is linear.

An example of degree = 0 up top and degree = 1 down below would be {{{4/(2x+5)}}}

Meanwhile, something like {{{(3x-7)/(9x+15)}}} has the numerator and denominator with the same degree (both 1).

If you want, think of {{{9x+15}}} as {{{9x^1+15}}}
