Graphing the points does not prove anything....<br>
The figure is a parallelogram because (1,0) and (1,4) determine a vertical segment of length 4 and (3,2) and (3,6) do also.  If opposite sides of a quadrilateral are parallel and congruent, the figure is a parallelogram.<br>
And graphing doesn't help find the coordinates of the points after translating the figure 2 to the left and 4 down.  Find the coordinates by subtracting 2 from the x coordinate and subtracting 4 from the y coordinate for each of the four points.<br>
e.g., (1,4) --> (-1,0)<br>
You can do the others.<br>
