<pre>
For each point marrked on the graph,

 1. draw a vertical line through it long enough to cross the x-axis, then
 2. look at the number where it crosses the x-axis, then
 3. that number will be the first coordinate of the ordered pair, then
 4. draw a horizontal line through it long enough to cross the y-axis, then
 5. look at the number where it crosses the y-axis, then
 6. that number will be the second coordinate of the ordered pair, then
 7. Substitute the first coordinate for x in the equation y = 2x - 4 and the second coordinate for y.
 8. Simplify the right side of the equation until it is a single number
 9. If the number on the right is the same number as the number on the left, then it is a solution to the equation. If not, ignore it.
10. write a left parenthesis "(" , then
11. just to the right of the "(", write the first coordinate, then
12. just to the right of the first coordinate, write a comma "," , then
10. just right of the comma, write the second coordinate, then
11. finally, just right of the second coordinate, write a right parenthesis, ")" , then
12. That's it! Each ordered pair should look something like this " {6,7) ", only with different numbers.
