            The setup and the solution by @MathLover1,  including her answer,  are totally wrong.

            I came to bring a correct solution.

<pre>
Use the proportion

    {{{(4.3m)/(1.72m)}}} = {{{(2.6cm)/x}}}.

From the proportion, find

    x = {{{(1.72*2.6)/4.3}}} = 1.04.

<U>ANSWER</U>. The width of the model is 1.04 cm.
</pre>

Solved.
