Question 111528
I worked out the equation listed below using the slope and y-intercept for
Slope; -3/4; y-intercept (0,8) (I need to see a graph please)
Please graph the following equation y= (-3/4)x+8
--------------------
Plot a point at (0,8) on the y-axis.
The slope of -3/4 tells you the following:
"as x increases 4, y decreases 3"
So, from (0,8) move your pencil point 4
to the right and then three down to the point
(4,5). Plot another point there and draw a line
thru the two points. That is the graph you want.
----------------
{{{graph(400,300,-10,10,-10,10,(-3/4)x+8)}}}
