Given:
{{{a=17cm}}}
{{{q=16cm}}}

find the length of the other diagonal

use right triangle whose legs are  {{{ p/2}}}, {{{q/2=8cm}}}, and hypothenuse is {{{a=17cm}}}

 {{{p/2=sqrt((17cm)^2-(8cm)^2)}}}

{{{p/2=sqrt(289cm^2-64cm^2)}}}

{{{p/2=sqrt(225cm^2)}}}

{{{p/2=15cm}}}

{{{p=30cm}}}

then area is:

{{{ A = (p*q)/2}}}

{{{A = (30cm*16cm)/2}}}

{{{A= 240cm^2}}}
