Question 1177785
In the compound inequality, the coefficient of the x term is negative, so at some point we will need to multiply or divide by -1 to make it positive; that will change the direction of the inequality.
I personally prefer to do that at the start, so I won't forget to switch the direction later on. So I would solve the inequality like this....
{{{37>=-3x+7>=-2}}}
{{{-37<=3x-7<=2}}}
{{{-30<=3x<=9}}}
{{{-10<=x<=3}}}
ANSWER: [-10,3]
