Question 1176698
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

How far would the aunt and uncle go at 25 miles per hour in 5 minutes (1/12 of an hour)? Use *[tex \Large d\ =\ rt] and make sure your units match.

How long would it take you to travel that distance at 5 miles per hour (the difference between 30 mph and 25 mph)? Use *[tex \Large t\ =\ \frac{d}{r}] and make sure your units match.

How far would you travel in that amount of time at 30 miles per hour? That's your answer. Use *[tex \Large d\ =\ rt] and make sure your units match.

I did the problem by converting minutes to fractions of an hour, but it would work just as well by converting miles per hour to miles per minute.
