Question 379040
.
Solve: 3 + |2y-1| ≥ 1. Graph the solution set on a number line.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
            The solution by  @Penguin is  INCORRECT.
            I came to bring you a correct solution.
You start with this inequality
    3 + |2y-1| >= 1.
Next you subtract the number 3 from both sides.
    |2y-1| >= 1 - 3,
or
    |2y-1| >= -2.
But the absolute value is ALWAYS NON-NEGATIVE number,
so the last inequality is valid FOR ANY VALUE of y.
ANSWER.  The solution set is the ENTIRE NUMBER LINE from -oo to oo.
Solved, answered, explained and completed.
