Question 1078421
two integers are x and y

a) x + y = xy - 23
0 = xy - x - y - 23
24 = (x-1)(y-1)

x-1=4, y-1=6, so the two integers are 5 and 7

b) x + y = xy  -28
0 = xy - x - y - 28
29 = (x-1)(y-1)

x-1=1, y-1=29, so the two integers are 2 and 30

c) x + y = xy - 73
0 = xy - x - y - 73
74 = (x-1)(y-1)

x-1 = 2, y-1 = 39, so the two integers are 3 and 40
