During thousands years after Euclid, studying Geometry was a tool / (a mean) to teach students (and all people, in general) to think logically.


Such cources of Geometry were supported in educational school systems of all world civilized countries.


But in the US, systematic course of Geometry is &nbsp;EXCLUDED &nbsp;from a standard school curriculum by the efforts 

of their educational officials, &nbsp;and as the consequence, &nbsp;this culture is almost totally lost.



    &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;(and, &nbsp;as another consequence, &nbsp;almost all the computer programmers and almost all &nbsp;IT &nbsp;specialists 

    &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;and more than half of engineering staff in &nbsp;US &nbsp;are of foreign origin . . . )



Similar processes gain strength in other countries, &nbsp;too.


From old times, &nbsp;only separate islands of knowledge still remained, &nbsp;where you can glean of this culture.
