<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

Write the function in pencil. Erase each *[tex \Large x] and replace with *[tex \Large (-4)] and do the indicated arithmetic. By the way, what to what power are you supposed to raise the variable in the high-order term? The caret symbol (^) does NOT mean "squared", it means raise whatever it follows to the power of the next character. x^2 is x squared, x^3 is x cubed, x^n is x to the n power, x^{2m} is x to the 2m power.
