Juan invested his savings in two investment funds. 
The $6,000 that he invested in Fund A returned a 10% profit. 
The amount that he invested in Fund B returned a  3% profit.
if both funds together returned a  6% profit, 
find the amount invested in fund B?

Let x be the amount invested in fund B
 .10($6000) + .03x = .06($6000+ x)= .06$($6000) + .06x
  .04($6000) = .03x
  .04($6000)/.03 = x = $8000 the amount invested in fund B
