If a number(n) is increased by two-thirds of its opposite(-n), and the sum is increased by 5, the result is 10. 
Let n represent the number and -n its opposite
Write as You Read:
n + (2/3)(-n) + 5 = 10
(1/3)n = 5
  n = 15
checking our Work:
15 + (2/3)(-15) + 5 = 10
15 - 10 + 5 = 10  checks
