Question 16166
What you have is two equations with two unknowns.
2x= 3w
x+w= 180

You can solve by substitution or elimination in several different ways, but probably the easiest way is to solve for x in the second equation and get
x= 180-w.

Substitute this back into the equation:
2x= 3w
2(180 - w) = 3w
360 - 2w = 3w

Add +2w to each side:
360 = 5w

Divide both sides by 5:
{{{360/5 = (5w)/5}}}
72 = w
w= 72 degrees
x= 180-w
x=180-72= 108 degrees

Check:  make sure that
 2x= 3w
2(108) = 3(72)
216 = 216
