Question 1169085
 Again, need help before midnight. Thankyou for all your help!

Cherie went to a Virginia Tech football game and spent $20.50 on a hotdog, drink, and some nachos. The drink was twice as much as the hotdog and the nachos was $2.50 more than three times the hotdog. How much did each item cost?
<pre>Let cost of the hotdog be H
Then cost of drink = 2H, and cost of nachos = 3H + 2.50
With total cost being $20.50, we get: H + 2H + 3H + 2.5 = 20.5
6H = 18
Cost of the hotdog, or {{{highlight_green(matrix(1,5, H, "=", 18/6, "=", "$3"))}}}
Do you now think you can find the cost of the drink and the nachos?
