Most (if not all) calculators can't display numbers like 100!; they also can't STORE numbers like that anywhere as part of a calculation.<br>
With the expression the way you entered it, the calculator has to first calculate 100!; it can't do that.<br>
If your TI calculator is an 83 or 84, then you can calculate the answer as "100 nCr 8".  The calculator can do that, because it doesn't get the answer by first trying to calculate 100!.  The answer will be in scientific notation, so it will not be an exact answer.<br>
