I am looking into your post, and I do not see a "rational" function there.


What I see in the post, is a polynomial.


Yes, a polynomial is a particular case of a rational function, 


but still, when a person calls a polynomial as a rational function, I'd advise him (or her) to refresh his (or her) memory.


Also, parallel to it, check your post.
