Question 1159663
Find the amplitude, the period, and the phase shift.
y = 5 sin(3x − π/2)

I got 5 for amplitude, 2pi/3 for period, and 3pi/2 for phase shift. The amplitude and period are right but phase shift is wrong, why??
<pre>A HORIZONTAL/PHASE SHIFT is calculated as: {{{abs(c/b)}}}. With c being {{{- pi/2}}} and b being 3 (coefficient of "x"), {{{abs(c/b)}}} becomes: {{{highlight_green(matrix(1,5, abs((- pi/2)/3), "=", abs((- pi/2) * (1/3)), "=", highlight(highlight(- pi/6))))}}}
ACCEPT NO other answer, especially the one that claims that it's {{{pi/6}}}- She's ALMOST ALWAYS WRONG!!
