Question 107171
Draw a rough sketch of the quadratic function. Label the vertex and any x and y intercepts.

f(x)=-2(x-3)^2+8
--------------------
Notice that f(3) is 8.
That is the vertex.
Notice that -2(x-3)^2 is always negative for all values of x
so the parabola opens down from the vertex.
Notice that when x=0, y = 2*9+8 = 26; that is the y-intercept.

{{{graph(400,300,-10,10,-10,10,-2(x-3)^2+8)}}}
