Question 1154604
 1. This one was solved using substitution:

  x + y = 2
     4y = -4x + 8
Answer:  x = 2−y

and

2. This one was solved using elimination:
    x + y = 2
       4y = -4x + 8
Answer:  (x, 2  -  x)

The question I have is "what does this mean for the solution?"
--------
In both cases, the equations are dependent. It's the same equation twice.
---> infinite # of solutions, no unique solution.
