Question 106767
how do i solve this equations by graphing it?
and how do i put it in my calculator to solve and graph it?
3x-6y=9
--------------
Put the equation in slope-intercept form:
y = (1/2)x - (3/2)
---------
Plot two points:
If x=1, y = (1/2)-(3/2) = -1
If x=5, y = (5/2)-(3/2) = 1
================================
Plot these two points and draw a line thru them:
{{{graph(400,300,-10,10,-10,10,(1/2)x-(3/2))}}}
====================
Calculator?:
Depends on what calculator you have.
