"A picked twice AS MANY AS B"  -->  B picked x amount; the amount A picked was 2 times x, or 2x.<br>
"A picked three times MORE THAN B"  -->  B picked x amount; the amount A picked was x, plus three times x, or x+3x = 4x.<br>
"A picked four times MORE AS B"  -->  Not proper English; we don't know what it means....<br>
