Question 1153392
i used the following financial calculator to solve this.
<a href = "https://arachnoid.com/finance/index.html" target = "_blank">https://arachnoid.com/finance/index.html</a>
my inputs were:
pv = 0
fv = 0
np = 14 * 12 = 168
ir = 3.5 / 12 = .29166666667 percent.
pmt = -100 at end of each time period.
i then clicked on pv and the calculator said that the present value is $13,266.39.
here's a display of my inputs and output.

the pmt is entered as negative because it's money going out.
the pv is shown as positive because it's money coming in.
