Can you please help us to form a algebric expression for the below mentioned question
Fatima has piggy bank that contains either quarters or 
Dimes. There is total of 24 coins. She breaks open the piggy bank. 
How much my does she have?

As you understand,  there are many different cases,  starting from  24 quarters  (that give  6 dollars) 
to  24 dimes  (that give only $2.40).


So,  the problem is uncompleted to have a unique answer.

But this &nbsp;"and NOT both" &nbsp;is just &nbsp;INTERPRETATION, &nbsp;which absents in the original text.


So, &nbsp;I would be more careful, &nbsp;by introducing an interpretation to the original text and stating then
that it is the only possible meaning. 


It is NOT so.
