In the post by Edwin, &nbsp;I don't know what the upper index &nbsp;"+" &nbsp;means and for what reason Edwin uses it . . . 



In my post, &nbsp;I simply omitted it.

The standard use of the symbol  &nbsp;R<sup>+</sup> &nbsp;in &nbsp;Math is to denote the abelian group of real numbers by addition, 


but it is not a context for the given problem.
