I'm not sure I understood you equation completely. Is it supposed to read:
{{{t[s]-t[p] = (d/v[s])-(d/v[p])}}} ?
If so, then the answer would read:
{{{d = (t[s]-t[p])((v[s]*v[p])/(v[p]-v[s]))}}}
