Since another tutor supplied a partial response, I will tell what I see here.&lt;br&gt;
But, as I stated in my original response, this (and any other) &quot;solution&quot; is only a guess.&lt;br&gt;
The actual letters and the coded letters appear to be &quot;27-complements&quot;:
a(1) &lt;--&gt; z(26)
b(2) &lt;--&gt; y(25)
c(3) &lt;--&gt; x(24)
etc.&lt;br&gt;
boy --&gt; (2)(15)(25) --&gt; (25)(12)(2) --&gt; ylb&lt;br&gt;
That would make&lt;br&gt;
nmz --&gt; (14)(13)(26) --&gt; (13)(14)(1) --&gt; mna&lt;br&gt;
But &quot;mna&quot; is not a word; so this seemingly logical pattern doesn&#39;t appear to work.</PRE>
