Question 1140458

Just looking for a check to make sure I'm on the right track. Thanks

35. Given a line with equation 5x+2y=6, write an equation in point-slope form of the line perpendicular to the given line through the point (4, -4).
5x+2y=6
5x -5x +2y=6 -5x
2y/2 = (-5x + 6)/2
y = -5/2x +3
y−y0=m(x−x0)	m = 2/5
y - (-4) = 2/5(x - 4)

Yes, you are on the right track!!
Great job!!
