Question 1130200
Do you mean that she spent 2660 in total? Because that's not what you wrote, I am left guessing what the 2660 figure is.
.
Assuming that's how much she spent on stocks:
Company A: $15/share
company B: $22/share
.
A + B = 140 therefore A = 140 - B
15A + 22B = 2660
15(140 - B) + 22B = 2660
2100 - 15B + 22B = 2660
7B = 560
B = 80
So she bought 80 shares at $22 and 140 - 80 = 60 shares at $15
