Question 1129124
{{{ ln(1/2) = highlight( -ln(2) ) }}}<br>

You can see this from {{{ ln(a/b) = ln(a) - ln(b) }}}, (by setting a=1, b=2 )<br>

Remember, ln(x) is the value (an exponent) that e must be raised to to get back x. {{{ e^(ln(x)) = x }}}.

Study the properties of logarithms, maybe try to derive some of them to make it really sink in.
