Question 1125768

Two integers have a product of -24.

{{{x*y=-24}}}...solve or {{{y}}}
{{{y=-24/x}}}...eq.1

Since {{{-24}}} doesn't have that many factors, you can do this simply by testing
all factors
1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 6 | 8 | 12 | 24 (8 divisors)

since product could be written as {{{-1*24}}}, our integers could be {{{x}}} is {{{-1}}} and {{{y}}} is {{{24}}}

if so, the largest possible sum is {{{-1+24=23}}}.
