The ratio of the heights of the two pyramids is 24:8 or 3:1.  That means the ratio of the volumes is 3^3:1^3 = 27:1.<br>
So if the volume of the larger pyramid is 648 m^3, then the volume of the smaller one is 648/27 = 24 m^3
