Question 1115858
.
<pre>
It is VERY WELL KNOWN FACT that the equation for the height as the function of time is

h(t) = -16t^2 + 56t.

The axis of symmetry is half-way between the roots of the equation

-16t^2 + 56t = 0,        which is

{{{-16t*(t-56/16)}}} = 0.

The roots are t = 0  and  t = {{{56/16}}}, so half-way between the roots is  {{{56/(2*16)}}} = {{{28/16}}} = {{{7/4}}}.

Are you satisfied ?
