Question 1113607
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

Revenue is the price times the quantity sold. So if *[tex \LARGE p(x)] is the price for *[tex \LARGE x] items sold, then *[tex \LARGE R(x)\ =\ x\,\cdot\,p(x)\ =\ x(30\ -\ x)]

Profit is Revenue minus Cost, so *[tex \LARGE P(x)\ =\ R(x)\ -\ C(x)\ =\ \[x(30\ -\ x)\]\ -\ \[3x\ -\ 32\]]

Just plug in 10 for *[tex \LARGE x] and do the arithmetic.

John
*[tex \LARGE e^{i\pi}\ +\ 1\ =\ 0]
My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
