This question

    Determine amount of water in the ice

MAKES NO SENSE.

----------------
comment from student: I will reword the question: How much water makes up the ice?
----------------

My response: OK, it is much better. My calcs are below:

A) Volume of the piece of ice

   3 * .875 * .875 = 2.296875 cu. ft.

B) Weight of ice.

Weight (or mass) = Vol*density

Density of ice = 57.2 pounds/cu ft   (Source: https://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/density-solids-d_1265.html )

W = 57.2*2.296875

W =~ 131.38 pounds = same as weight of water.
