Question 1111010
Nearly always, when the two equations are given in Ax+By=C form, the easiest method of solving the pair is elimination.
With this pair of equations, I would multiply the first by 3 and the second by -2; then adding the two resulting equations will eliminate y. Solve the resulting equation for x; then use that value of x in either of the original equations to solve for y.
