Question 1105266
<br>
The way you have shown the function, "f (x) = (x – 8)3– 9", I don't know what it is supposed to be. It might be
{{{f(x) = 3(x-8)-9}}};
or it might be
{{{f(x) = (x-8)^3-9}}}<br>
But in fact if either of those interpretations is correct, then in either case it is a function, because both of those are polynomials; and all polynomials in a single variable are functions.
