Question 1104073
.
Over the last three evenings, Lisa received a total of 123 phone calls at the call center.
The second evening, she received 4 times as many calls as the third evening.
The first evening, she received 9 fewer calls than the third evening.
How many phone calls did she receive each evening?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
<pre>
First evening + second evening + third evening = 123 phone calls
 x-9          + 4x             + x            = 123
6x - 9 = 123  ====>  6x = 123 + 9 = 132  ====>  x = {{{132/6}}} = 22.
From this point, can you complete the solution on your own ?
Don't you think that two TWIN problems  are  just enough ?
