           [5(x+1)+2]/(x+6)(x+1) = 3/(x+1)
 
           5x+5+2/(x+6) = 3  [cancelling (x+1) on both sides]

           5x+7 = 3(x+6)

           5x+7-3x-18 = 0

              2x-11 = 0

                 2x = 11
