Question 1096967
<br>The steps for evaluating an expression like that will be different for different calculators. I use a TI84, which is one of the most widely used calculators. Below are the steps for how to evaluate 6C4 on the TI84. If you have a different calculator, you can re-post your question, telling what calculator you have; maybe someone out there who has the same kind of calculator can then help you.<br>
Evaluating 6C4 on the TI84:
press 6
press MATH
press right arrow 3 times to highlight PRB (probability)
press 3 (nCr option)
press 4
ENTER<br>
Or, if you want to do the calculation the slow way, the expression 6C4 is
{{{6!/((4!)(2!))}}} = {{{((6*5*4*3*2*1)/((4*3*2*1)(2*1)))}}} = {{{(6*5)/(2*1) = 30/2 = 15}}}
and similarly for the other nCr expressions.
