1. With the radius of the base, you can calculate the area of the base, and its circumference.
2. With the total surface area and the area of the base, you can calculate the lateral area.
3. With the lateral area and the circumference of the base, you can calculate the slant height.
4. With the slant height, and the radius of the base, you can calculate the height of the cone.
5. With the radius of the base, and the height of the cone, you can calculate the volume of the cone.
 
There may be a formula that lets you save steps, but I do not memorize formulas. I prefer to just understand how measurements are related.
