Question 1092543
You were fine until the (-1-x)^2 part. That is 1+2x+x^2.
x^2+2x-3=0
(x+3)(x-1)=0
x=-3, 1
The other way is to look just at the x-coordinate, -1. Go two units up to +1, so (1, 1). Go two units down to -3, so (-3, 1).
