Let *[tex \Large \alpha\ =\ \frac{\pi}{2}] and *[tex \Large \beta\ =\ x].


Substitute and do the arithmetic.  Remember, *[tex \Large \sin\frac{\pi}{2}\ =\ 1] and *[tex \Large \cos\frac{\pi}{2}\ =\ 0]
